![]() It's the end of the month, which means it's time for the end of the world with another Post-Apocalyptic Summer episode on Mail Order Zombie! This time around, Brother D and Miss Bren take a look at The Postman (dir. Kevin Costner) and Damnation Alley (dir. Jack Smight), with an assist from MOZ Family Members Tracey and Scott, respectively. Not only do they tackle the movies, they also tackle the books upon which the films were based. Also, 'dillo prepared a review of the film A Boy and His Dog (dir. L. Q. Jones) (which I say still has one of the best DVD cover art images ever - a smiley face in a mushroom cloud - GOLD!). Mixed into the episode is a bit of post-apocalyptic news, the Post-Apocalyptic Quiz, the Zombie Aptitude Test and a more-musical-than-normal Feedback Discussion. |

We're dipping back into the Crypticon well with Episode 167.5 of Mail Order Zombie. This week, Brother D presents a recording from the Zombies! panel. It was a sort of free-for-all panel that took place Saturday night across the hall from the Saturday night loud-music-and-booze-filled party, so it sounds like there's a LOT more excitement happening in the room than they might have really been. Or not. Listen, and you decide. On the panel were Brother D, Eric Pope, Reverend en Fugue, Steven J. Holetz, Timothy W. Long and Mark Rahner. |

Episode 167 of Mail Order Zombie finds Brother D and Miss Bren returned to MOZ Central after a family emergency took them away from the bunker last week (HUGE thanks to Need-a-Nickname Scott for all the post-production work on Episode 166.5!). While they're still getting their bearings and finding their groove again (and going over the weekly-ish Feedback), Silent Death and Chuffed Carl have some Listener Reviews, and Need-a-Nickname Scott and Tracey have a report on the recent Days of the Dead Convention complete with interviews! And don't forget Professor Chad's Zombie Aptitude Test! |

Brother D and Miss Bren get called away from the MOZ Bunker leaving Need A Nickname Scott home alone! Luckily Brother D was able to record two movie reviews with Scott before they had to leave. In Episode 166.5 of Mail Order Zombie, Brother D and Scott review the 2011 film Stripperland, directed by Sean Skelding and staring Ben Sheppard and Jamison Challeen. After that, the film Dr. Horror's Erotic House of Idiots from 2004, staring Debbie Rochon, Trent Haaga, Conrad Brooks and directed by Paul Scrabo. |
