![]() Episode 157 is the Dead Letter Award catch-up episode! Brother D reviews three Dead Letter Award-nominated zombies movies on his own - Rammbock/Siege of the Dead (dir. Marvin Kren), The Dead Can't Dance (dir. Rodrick Pocowatchit) and E'gad, Zombies! (dir. Matthew Butler) - and is then joined by Aaron from the DLA-nominated The Zed Word: Zombie Blog to review and discuss La Horde/The Horde (dir. Yannick Dahan, Benjamin Rocher). That's four movie reviews, plus we have a bonus webcomic review (courtesy of Adorable Kate), the news (courtesy of Need-A-Nickname Scott, who's going on a scouting mission for all of us next week when he and his wife Tracey take a trip Walt Disney World), and the Feedback Discussion (courtesy of Miss Bren). (We had some Feedback about Episode 156.6, and to avoid spoiling Survivors, this Feedback appears at the very end of this episode.) |

Finally! After months of mentioning it on the show, Miss Bren and Brother D sit down to discuss the BBC series Survivors (2008-2010). When they started recording this segment, their intention was to include this discussion in Mail Order Zombie #156, but because they talked about the series for over an hour, it's become it's own episode. (Before the discussion, Brother D does share a bit of news regarding Mail Order Zombie.) Email us at MailOrderZombie@gmail.com or call us at 206-202-2505! Episode 156 of Mail Order Zombie finds Brother D doing (one of the things!) what he does best (or, at least HE'D like to think so!). He reviews three more zombie movies - Dawn of the Mummy (dir. Frank Agrama), Hell is Full (dir. Steve Hudgins) and Alice Jacobs is Dead (dir. Alex Horwitz). Need-a-Nickname Scott expands the Zombie Beat to include news of the post-apocalyptic variety, Brother D announces two new contests and Miss Bren names the winner of the Resident Evil: Afterlife Blu-ray. And Feedback? There's plenty! |

A few months ago, Need-a-Nickname Scott found the website for the movie Danger. Zombies. Run. (dir. Brian Wimer). He learned that it was playing at a local film festival, but he wasn't able to see the movie in that festival setting. Now, a few months later, he and Brother D were able to watch the movie on DVD, and during an impromptu Skype recording session, they discuss it (with SPOILERS!). Danger. Zombies.
