In 1983, after the success of Creepshow, George Romero and company launched the television series "Tales from the Darkside," a horror anthology series that ran for four years, featuring adaptations of stories by Harlan Ellison, Clive Barker and Stephen King, and featured the directorial debut of Tom Savini.

On February 10, 2009, Paramount is releasing "Tales from the Darkside: The First Season" as a 3-disc DVD set with audio commentary by George Romero himself on one of the episodes, and Mail Order Zombie wants you to have this in your collection!
